About Course
The Supervisory Development Course Track 1 (SDC-1) equips first-line supervisors, team leaders, and employees preparing for supervisory roles with the essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes to lead people and manage operations effectively in government service.
This 8-hour program introduces the fundamentals of supervision—personal effectiveness, managing change, communicating with impact, motivating and coaching subordinates, and creating action plans for workplace improvement. It reflects the Civil Service Commission (CSC) core competencies for first-line supervisors and prepares participants for promotion, ranking, and leadership responsibilities.
