About Course

This 8-hour online training course is designed to strengthen the capacity of Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System (GFPS) members in implementing gender-responsive programs, projects, and policies in accordance with Philippine GAD mandates. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of their legal and institutional roles, acquire tools for planning and reporting, and explore best practices across public and private sectors. This course aims to enhance GFPS performance in mainstreaming GAD in organizational systems and culture.

What Will You Learn?

  • Explain the legal basis, structure, and function of the GFPS in the Philippines.
  • Describe the specific roles and responsibilities of GFPS members at different levels.
  • Develop and evaluate GAD Plans and Budgets (GPBs) and GAD Accomplishment Reports (GAD ARs).
  • Apply gender analysis tools and indicators to assess organizational performance.
  • Identify and implement best practices in GAD mainstreaming.
  • Strengthen GFPS operations, documentation, and coordination mechanisms.
